Being born and raised in the city of Detroit was great for me, it is important to hold yourself accountable for the things that you truly want to do that makes you happy because each day life can get hard. There are so many things that can stray you away from the path that you set for yourself so if you use this journey to hold yourself accountable, you will start to see a new you. It definitely did for me, I love jogging 10k’s and winning medals to show off to my friends, my middle son (how ironic right) runs with me each and every time so teaching journaling and health a great bonding experience. Yoga and strength training are my favorites also.

Theresa R. Mitchell Hello there I am Theresa Mitchell I am a middle child smack dabe in the middle of 7, so you know I’m something special, coming from a large family I created my own little crew and I love my family very much. I am the sole care provider for my beautiful mother Helen Moody whom I cherish dearly, she battles dementia so with the help of my 4 Amazing Children we make it happen for her each and every day. Tashira (24) Jachin (22) Joshua (18) Julian (16) and my beautiful granddaughter Thyri’ (9months)

My Story

During my pregnancy’s with my children I discovered that I could not deliver my children naturally because of the way my body is set up so those 4 c-sections gave me a lot of scar tissue and that really messed me up. Once I learned about my health issues I knew I had to do something fast so a lifestyle change was definitely needed. Starting this workout journey and practicing healthy eating habits have really blessed me and changed my life forever, you should do it too.
